RE: Competition with Novozymes? This is the type of deal that we shall see , attracted by Lignol's proprietary processes.
Lignol is actively seeking to develop a commercial project with a consortium of strategic partners , much like Greenfield
Lignol has continued to develop its US Department of Energy (DOE) funded commercial demonstration project and continues to seek industry partners.
Recent amendments to the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Biorefinery Assistance Guaranteed Loans program will make loan guarantees more accessible for companies like Lignol, enabling them to obtain commercially reasonable terms for debt on a first-of-kind commercial project.
Its for this reason that Lignol has been showcasing its biorefining technology and its lead renewable chemical products, as part of the process for submitting applications under this, or similar programs in domestic and international markets.
The recent blitz of development news should be viewed in this context, as they are promulgated towards a consortium deal before the year is out, if not this quarter............its moving that fast.
The word is getting out, as can be seen in the much firmer bids and weaker asks.
