RE: RE: Selling Pressure...

RE: RE: Selling Pressure..." long view should be skeptical of news"

Thanks for your input douglaspj.  I guess there's always a first time to post on this stock even though you've held for 2 years now, but that's fine.

Again, my point was regarding the short term trading.

I would disagree somewhat with your statement because news is what drives a share price of a listed company, and it effects both the short and long term view as the share price effects the financial ability of any listed company to raise funds.

Fine, LEC won't need money for another 5 months, but that is not a long time in my view.  Therefore, it is imperative seeing that the DOE will not be funding this project as it no longer fits within their guidelines of funding, that LEC accomplishes their goals efficiently.

I have no doubt that the HP-L Lignin testing will be a success.  What is the risk IMO, is what form of deal or deals Lignol management is able to negotiate in order to commercialize ethanol/HP-L Lignin using their patented technology.

I'm holding and haven't sold.  Actually I have a stink bid in and hope not to get filled, but the market is a funny thing.  The market doesn't like surprises, or at least not surprises that go against their expectations.  Friday's news went against market expectations, and that's probably why it was released Friday.  Life goes on.

Lignol now has to follow thru.  Timing is everything.  5 months will go by in a heartbeat, and I would hope that a deal is made prior to year end.  Actually, they've been testing since April, with further orders and trials that were shipped last month.  We should be very close to news at the very least discussing results of these trials.

Another thing, they mentioned in their June 30 news that they would not need money to fund their baseline operations until Jan 2012.   Does anyone know if this is still the case now that they will no longer be getting funding from the DOE?
