Lignol's Process is Different...And I would expect so are our products.
I checked out the links you provided. With regards to Tecnaro, one interesting point about the production of their products using Lignin, is that they use lignin derived from byproducts from the papermaking industry.
On the other hand, Lignol produces this High Performance Lignin for such production as the substitution of petro-chemical adhesives used in the OSB industry and others.
Their new venture involves a co-development project which will use LEC's highly reactive cellulose production from the HP-L Lignin process to produce biofuels, sugar platform chemicals and cellulose-based materials.
You can compare both companies and see that their business model is quite different. It may be that one day, Tecnaro becomes one of Lignol's customers IMO. That's just speculation on my part, but I think that is where the difference in business is. atb
