Insider trades etc

Insider trades etcHi folks - just thought I'd share an email I received from David Turner yesterday. I had sent him a little bit of a blast on the reasons why senior management isn't supporting the stock, and specifically raised the question of a number of larger investors, who I referred to by name. The email back doesnt say much, but might be interesting to some of you anyway. Here it is (copy-pasted):

Dear XYZ (my name removed);

Thank you for your email. Please be advised that Mr. Disbrow and Mr. Lyall are principals of Haywood Securities and have not at any time been directors of Lignol.  They appear as “Insiders” from a TSXV reporting perspective because of the large size of their shareholding in Lignol, which requires them to disclose any trading activity. We are not aware of any trading of shares by the Executive Team and the directors of the Company during the last 5 years, with the exception of one sale of approximately 40,000 shares by one executive who acquired such shares as a result of an exercise of his options.

Like you, we are disappointed that the market has not responded to the positive developments within the Company as evidenced by recent press releases. We do hope that this situation changes. You have probably noted that we have recently engaged the services of CIBC and Capital West to assist us to find a suitable strategic investor and so there is currently quite extensive marketing of the Company by these two leading institutions across a wide range of audiences internationally. Meanwhile we are also working with National Public Relations on a number of initiatives.

Sincerely,
David Turner
