RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:New Press Release - LAURION ANNOUNCES UPSIZE OF PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED PRIVATE PLACEMENT OF FLOW-THROUGH SHARES More than a theory in my view. If raising capital was to match drilling you'd see a drilling program to match that expanded capital.
The drilling program this year is targeted, informed and on new territory but expansive it is not.
Cynthia is unique in many ways. One of the most unheralded achievements she's banked in my opinion is running an exploration company at a profit. One strategy predators in this industry employ (read : Sprott) is to drive a quality company into over expenditure then either acquire at a deep discount or sell off the parts.
Cynthia has now fully delivered a business that CANNOT be leveraged in that fashion. What does that mean for us? If you want Laurion the only way to get it is to bid on it.
That not only speaks to value but also speaks to timeline.
Additionally, there are 3 prongs to the LME corporate strategy: explore, develop and dispose. If the foot is on the gas gently on exploration that allows for more emphasis on development and disposal.
When I add all that up I get a scene set for the growth of the value of this company and an attractive advertisement to companies that have made it clear they need explored inventory : "if you want this, pay for it"
Terrific senior management that hasn't wavered from the end game since day 1. I've never been more satisfied with our leadership, with Cynthia, with the Board and with the outlook for the future.
My only decision to make for myself is whether or not I have enough LME. It's a supremely positive time to be an LME shareholder.
Hope that helps,
Steve
