RE:Drill results

RE:Drill results

The results were great imo. Here are a couple of articles I found useful when starting to interpret drill results:

https://nextinvestors.com/learn-to-invest/mining/how-to-read-assays-and-drilling-results-for-beginners/

https://independentspeculator.com/drill-result-cheat-sheet

The "Coles notes":

When mining results are being considered for feasibility companies establish a cut-off grade. Anything above the cut-off grade is considered minable mineralization and anything below the cut off grade is considered to be waste material and not included in an eventual resource estimate as material that can be processed into ore.

Cut off grades for Gold

Open pit:

  • 0–0.5 g/t gold is low grade.
  • 0.5–1.5 g/t gold is average grade.
  • Over 1.5 g/t gold is high grade.

The ishkoday will be an open pit mine, so we are looking for results that are AU OVER 0.5g/t. Roger’s also wrote a post referencing GBR and what to look for "FYI pay special attention to the fact that Great bears open pit model is based off of a cut off of 0.5 g/t gold, while the underground model is based on a cut off grade of 2.3 g/t gold.“.

When you look at the assay results from the latest PR every result presented except one was over cut off grade. These results are great, they show high concentrations of mineralization through the holes that were drilled.  I’m eagerly anticipating the next results!
