New SEDAR+ filing
Lme refiled the notice of meeting and record date. Looks mostly the same, except now the date of record to be a shareholder is OCT 5, 2023 (changed from oct 4, 2023). Meeting still Nov 15, 2023.

A possible explanation: they want the date of record for the AGM to be the same as the one for voting on the Plan of Arrangement at the Special Meeting, and they have moved the latter ahead by a day. This could well be the projected date of announcement.

they do like Thursdays.... a lot of people have said it before, its different this time.... well this is another one of those things that is different. First time they switched the day after releasing it. could be a hundred reasons why, most of them won't give us our private islands.... but it is different.

Didn't Steve say that not to expect anything from the AGM or something along those lines? Also, it was today that he said nothing happening at this time? I think I just have PTSD from last year lol

I think the Kool-Aid Man just jumped through my wall and said: - Exactly 6 weeks to the day from the release of the Financial Advisor PR - Right before Thanksgiving Long Weekend - 72 days (stated avg time from announcement to closing) from Oct. 5th brings us to Dec 16th - Nice little Christmas Holiday send off

I am not sure that I agree with your logic DAM$, but I will just leave the issue with the words "time will tell"!

will be interesting to see how long volume and price will rise given theres no expectation of any sort of announcement to accompany the AGM. only sustainable for so long. We could have a hefty pullback. strap innnn

Could be but all these people who are trading this daily on the last few days are taking a big gamble when a lot of signs are pointing to a BO. Will be interesting the trading volume and price next week. lME long!! But hopefully short lol. Great day everyone

"Taking a big gamble" Anthony? Not so sure. I think a lot of the buyers are connected to F&F and have some inside info.

Matlas I think you may have misunderstood what I was trying to say ... I meant people who are buying a flipping on a daily basis risk that if an announcement is made they will be caught with a lot less shares they may have had... if a person situation permits I think it's just a time to hold. Just my humble opinion.

That would be unfortunate given that all signs point to positive news coming - just not necessarily linked to the AGM itself. There will be a lot of unhappy people who sell off after jumping on the bandwagon, when the inevitable transaction news is published on whatever it's natural timeline happens to be. Smart money stays put and trusts the process...

Agreed - it's also reassuring that Cynthia has NEVER sold a share of LME. Let's also remember she exercised options last year, years before their expiry. A great sign of confidence.

To me it looks like a nice / well needed cooling off period. Folks that felt the need to harvest some gains have done so....and now the bids are firming up in mid-low 60s as we get ready to punch through the wall (in a day or so) at $0.75. Just my 2 cents though!
