If you read all the Management Circulars that Ahsineeg and I have posted you will see they followed the same pattern. The bidding company contacts the target CEO to say they want to make a bid to buy. Then the target sets up a special Committee of independent directors that hire the financial advisor and negotiate the proposal. Once the proposal has been negotiated, and the fairness assessment has been done, it is presented to the full board.
All I was saying is the current AGM planning will have nothing to do with the buyout timeline. Although I am really hoping that the announcement comes around the October 5 date.
Meanwhile, I will sit back and happily watch the volume grow along with the share price.
