Stock Coverage

Hi Doug, as we all patiently wait for the LME MGMT team to carry out their strategic plan for disposition, why not initiate some analyst coverage to pick up the stock? We're currently being left out from lock step moves with the price action of Gold, everything ranging from ETF's and Larger Cap Stocks have seen the move up reflected in their stock price. Just look at GDX and SHNY for example . I just don't see a reason not to have more outside analyst coverage on the stock. LME has all the marketing and presentations done on the opportunity, can they put together a PR Junket to send out to all the major funds, brokerages and equiy firms?

Probably because if they shine a light on the company people will start to see the random weird stuff going on that we do. Directors leaving, directors selling, continuation of small drilling programs, handing out hundreds of thousands of options to stock forum chatbots.

I don't think any of these funds, brokerages, equity firms will promote a stock in which they cannot materially benefit from. It would take more than 250,000 options to entice them ;) They would  need to acquire enough stock for to be worth their while to promote and then sell to profit. Look at how low the daily volume is, and how thin the bid/asks are on level 2! Since LME stock ...more

I don't believe those % are accurate and more of an estimate. F&F category is probably blended in with the retail to some degree as that can't be 100% known and is a guesstimate. Unless brokerages and clearing houses send her a list with everyone's name. I would bet the available float to trade is a lot more. With little to no buying because of the lack of coverage and obsecurity ...more

Gold up to new highs but LME flirting with takin a swan dive off a cliff. WTF.  No updates on strategic direction on MONTHS. How long does it take for people to make a deal on buyin a bunch of rocks!? Is the deal dead?

The "Comparison" buyouts are 6 and 8 months from Finical adviser to Buyout Announcemnt.... So we are still well within "expected" timelines.  There is no change in the Stategic Direction, there are only 2 posibble changes.... We are no longer for sale,  or we have been sold....

Gold breaking out is only helping the situation, why would anyone hold out and wait for Gold to break even higher which it will and have to pay more for the company when they could negotiate a better deal today for their investors. 6-8 months since the USG engagement puts us still within the Mar-Apr timeline. Lots of "meat" on the bone for everyone including anyone buying, it would be ...more
