RE:RE:RE:Who was sellingI agree with Nova that the selling is not coming from any of the ex-directors. None of them are in a position where they have to sell. A good friend of mine knows one of the original directors and he said they are all sitting tight. All of them have realized the true potential here since day one. The project has taken a while to come together but the company has survived and we are in a pretty good place right now. There is no point in selling the farm too early as one would say. The recent selling is most likely some Institutional investor that is just tired and ready to move on or diversify. It’s hard not to be tempted by some of the other crazy deals out there. As for new investors, it’s OK to get some fresh blood in the deal.
My friend did tell me the hidden gem on this property is the “El Golfo” area. Another abandoned mine site that hold similar deposits or more than San Albino. Huge potential he says!! Akiba rarely mentions this area but it could be the ace up his sleeve when they increase their exploration budget!
I was a bit confused by Akiba’s talk yesterday about the consolidation. My take on it is that it won’t happen seeing we do not qualify for the advanced TSX listing until we have 18 months of solid cash flow. ?? I guess that buys us some time if it happens at all. I still think a light consolidation wouldn’t hurt us just to get the current shares outstanding a bit more in line with other producers. Maybe a 1 for 3, 4 or 5? No more than that.
Good luck everyone!
