John Proctor

Get the guy that has no shares to speak about Martello at the confrence as a good investment... great idea!

Hahahahahaha, so true!

This is absolutely outrageous! The CEO is going to be speaking as the representative of the company to a panel of investors and analysts to talk about the exciting developments in his company and will answer questions as to why they should invest in his company. The Achilles Heel questions that will surely be put to Mr. Proctor is the following: "So if I might ask, how many shares of MTLO do ...more

Agreed, I would forward your analysis of the situation along to Mr. Linton.  How can anyone with no skin in the game speak to why this is a great investment at this time.
Comment by Mikeyrob on Dec 08, 2020 12:02pm
how can they speak of this being a good investment... period. Look at the 3 year chart, it is a disaster. Mismanaged company with no significant growth, dismal dilution and insider shares only through options. Its appauling

and to top it off, the board and the C-Suite have decided to send in the CEO to give the pitch when he owns no shares... it is truly beyond believable. Not even mickey mouse. It is appalling and MTLO even made a big deal of this by issuing a press release... I mean is this not mickey mouse or what??? Bruce Linton or Terry Matthews should be making the presention otherwise do not participate ...more

I don't know how much longer I can hold out on this. I made a minuscule purchase of HIVE last week opting not to sell my mtlo shares to make a larger investment.  Had I cleared out my MTLO position to make more room for HIVE, i could have made up my MTLO losses,  even if I bought back into MTLO, after the fact, I could have lowered my average price and held far more shares. yup... hive came through hard over the past few months. MTLO is probably the laughing stock of the entire tech market
Comment by TheCashman on Dec 08, 2020 1:39pm
Any idea why Hive doing so well? I honestly don't know anything about hive, just that their SP growth looks amazing! However, when I checked their year over year revenue growth, and gross profit margins, they look horrible. On the other hand, I always thought Martello had amazing profit margins, and also decent revenue growth since 2018, and yet our SP remains stagnant (~$0.20) for 3 years ...more

I hold shares in Hive and I bought in at .47. Then it sat low for 2 years. I believe that cryptocurrencies popularity has grown since the pandemic.

Cashman, it's just been a near perfect storm over there.  The financial release coincided with  Bitcoin pressed up under its altime high. Even more so with ethereum pressing higher as well. Unfortunately, I think that party is over and it will drop again soon.  I hadn't bought enough to make anything substantial even if it had doubled while I held it.  It was just a ...more

I regret holding Martello for the last three years too. It's really hard looking at 20 cents and wondering if I'm going to eventually lose everything I put into Martello. The only things that keep me holding it are the nice gross profit margins, and the fact that Bruce and Terry are associated with it. However, I still think that Martello could take off one day, it just seems like we have ...more

But if and we all hope it will finally make its move, help me understand why the premium paid CEO making $400,000 has not bought one twenty cent share? We have a CEO who is on full pension from his military career now earning $400,000 per year in his new post career gig. If he has been to RMC he knows that he is in a leadership position. Where is the leadership when he does not own one fricken ...more

Good luck...he's a fraud who can't speak without clearing his throat and has zero technical accumen or inspiring leadership and market knowledge.

Talk about fear porn I think us investors are the emergency fund jar Maybe we can ask Proctor to buy some ghost writer like stock week And give it a rocket boost. Or we can make.our own  twitter tweet starJust trying to be helpful here!

This is evident also by a stock I own that also was in the .14 - .19 cent range for 1-2 years, and now it is over a buck within only a 3-4 months.  It can happen, but the difference between that stock and this one is that there was never any doubt about the leadership of that stock - the CEO is a proven winner in a large multinational public company and their marketing VP is industry ...more

Totally hear ya.  I don't want to mention other stocks while on this board, but there have been many opportunities pass by because we believe/believed in the Martello story and by extension the Linton story.  That is very hard to fathom.  The stock I sold half my position last week to buy (I already owned it and bought more) is now up 65% since purchase.  There are other ...more

I agree with you Jermo, if John Proctor was to buy shares based on being pressured that worse than not owning any in a company you've been CEO of for 3 years.  It's like opening the door for you wife or girlfriend after she asks you to, certain things you should just know. If I'm Mr. Proctor I would just man up and gracefully walk away.  The squandered marketing ...more

Merry Christmas and God Speed Jermo. Hopefully the new year will bring a new page for mtlo...

SMH A CEO for hire not having founder-level ownership is common and talking on a panel for an Investment conference is childs play for Proctor. Mindblowing is believing that Linton or any other director of MTLO would actually reach out to a shareholder and give them, and them alone selective disclosure.  No way Linton would do that - he knows better. Re-read IIROC guidelines, along with ...more
