The fund seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of global equities in the materials sector. The fund seeks to track the investment results of the S&P Global 1200 Materials Index (the Underlying Index), which measures the performance of companies that S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC (SPDJI), a subsidiary of S&P Global, Inc., deems to be part of the materials sector of the economy and that SPDJI believes are important to global markets. It is a subset of the S&P Global 1200.

RE:SilverThe whole gold/silver mining industry has been dropping for 5 years since 2011. I can't see the whole sector dropping more than 5 years. And I can't see it veering sideways after a 5 year drop. A strong mid-term bull period is due for at least a few years with Gold creeping it's way up to $1,500 and Silver to $25. I think 2016 is the year of the reversal. Merrex will be in good shape even if there is no buyout.
