Key take away from news release The mineralized zone at Keats has been greatly extended with confirmation of these drill results. The mineralized zone has been extended down plunge by about 250 meters to 845 meters. Wow that is great news. And it is high grade gold of around 2 oz/t over mineable widths. It's great news.
The average grade and width of the Swan Zone at Fosterville was very similar to what they are encountering at Queensway. Of course the zone will pinch and swell just like a river flowing through the countryside. And keep in mind this is only one zone. There are two other main zones with the Golden Joint and Lotto and several smaller zones. See below for details related to the Swan Zone that was the richest zone at Fosterville. The Keats Zone is very similar in size and grade as Quinton Hennigh often comments on in his Crescat presentations.
The Swan Zone, currently the highest grade mineralized zone at Fosterville, is 2-5m in width
- Fosterville Mineral Reserves increased 1,020,000 ounces or 60%, to 2,720,000 ounces @ 31.0 g/t, with the Swan Zone Mineral Reserve doubling to 2,340,000 ounces @ 49.6 g/t (total additions of 1,386,000 ounces before depletion of 366,000 ounces)
