RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Possible NFG Suitors
Absolutely no where did I suggest peanuts. Read my comments again. I said ythey will not overpay. Big difference. Read what I said and go back and look at some of the idiotic deals made back in the days of Euphoria. All I am saying is that they will not be that stupid anytime soon. NFG is a very valuable property. Some major(s) will be in here in not too distant future making an offer. they will pay what it is worth! They will in no way pay insane numbers like some are quoting here. There is even a possibility of a bidding war happening on this one, and that could drive it to an extremely attractive premium, but once again majors will exercise discipline as they have been doing for many years now.
And, I did not suggest any kind of timeline for Sprott and Palisades to sell. All I said is that has been expressly stated by both that it is their intention "when the price is acceptable" to them! But, to be talking about $100 a share as some have here is not being rational. I expect between $20 to a maximum of $30 per share. At the upper level we are looking at a $5.4 billion transaction for a non producing asset, and those are very very rare!! Sprott cost is about $3.90 per share and again at the higher figure almost a 10 bagger and in an all share deal with the right major (AEM is a great one) he could easily double that again once mine is producing. So, where the hell did you get me saying peanuts! I admire and enjoy your very knowledgeable posts, but please do not read into my comments what is in now way suggested or there.
