You know for a fact that not one representative from a major gold company has visited the New Found Gold site? That's not what I heard. I think given the hype this discovery has generated and with folks like Eric Sprott and Collin Kettell being the money guys behind it I think it would be foolish to think NFG haven't talked to the majors. I would be very disappointed if I heard they hadn't visited the site. Of course there are discussions with the majors behind the scenes.


Just think about Great Bear and what happened to them. I believe they were almost 5 years drilling and never did produce a 43-101 but they did get bought out. I think it will be 3 years this September since NFG started drilling so perhaps in another 2 years they will get an official offer. The seismic survey could be a game changer but like everything else in the exploration world these things take time and a whole lot of money. Luckily for NFG they can drill year round and keep finding more high grade gold. That's a good thing.
