RE:How shorters make money

RE:How shorters make moneyShort sellers find it easy these days to take a position, in comparison to earlier times.
Many brokers would not take short orders,.and if they did, then the trade had to be executed on
an uptick, in accordance with Stock Exchange regulations.
This restriction , frequently, was abused by brokers' trading accounts, particularly when a spec'
was in a downward spiral. The authorities seldom clued in, or chastised them.
Up until perhaps fifty years ago, speculaters on the downside were thought of as being
unpatriotic. But the truth was that they have always had a part to play, ensuring that more of a
balanced market existed.
That said, perhaps the 'termites' will provide some juice to the upside when they rush to cover
gold share positions as they run for the exits before year end.

He who sells what isn't his'n,
Must buy it back, or go to prizz'n.
