I agree 100% ike. I think the best is still to come with this gold system. Still very early days really but it is looking very very good. When you look at more advanced projects like GBR has with its Dixie property in Red Lake they are hitting similar gold grades but they are well over 600 meters deep and getting deeper by the day. What will NFG's Queensway have at 600 meters plus ...more

Mega, the potential is there that the 'fault' that joins up the Keats Zone on the Appleton Fault with the H Pond Zone on the JPL Fault will contain continuous gold!!
Comment by megacopper on Oct 13, 2021 6:02pm
That thought always crossed my mind that there could be faults cross cutting between the Appleton Fault and JBP Fault. That would be a game changer as there is a lot of real estate between the two main faults. I haven't heard anyone mention it in any news release by any of the NL gold juniors but it could be possible. There are lots of faults throughout NL which has allowed gold to ...more

Megacopper, take a look at some of Goldspot's maps on NFG's website. There a couple of them on their Presentation showing these cross faults. It's their (SPOT) interpretation!!!

Ok I'll have a look. The Rock Doctor just had a few double rum and coke and is on the red wine now so I might be able to get him to look at something for more than 5 minutes without getting distracted.  He's actually in the mood for talking geology. Once a man twice a child. Nothing wrong with his tongue that's for sure. I can't shut him up. Lol

The Rock Doctor thinks that is entirely possible. I'm here talking to him about that now and he agrees there could be cross cutting faults. It definitely happened down towards the south around the great bend and further south where the faults were offset so something happened geologically years ago to cause that which would definitely allow a lot of fluids to come to ...more

Tell the Rock Doctor that a LIDAR survey would find these faults. I thought I read somewhere that NFG was going to carry out this survey. Not sure what SPOT used to interpret these cross cutting faults (Magnetics?).

Ok but he's about as old school as you can get but I'll mention it to him. He's a big believer in science and thinks Goldspot are the new guys on the block who are taking data on these properties and are able to generate high priority targets and obviously it is working. Dennis Laviolette will be a very rich man. Thanks for the information.
