Anyone have any idea what majors normaly pay for ounces in ground on a buy out?

Kinross just paid $1.8 billion for GBR. If resources exceed 8,500,000 ounces they will pay another $1 a share. So that's about $210 an ounce . I don't  know if that was a good or bad deal. Others may have more informed comments

The initial resource is yet to be announced, when it is, you will get a better idea

Anyone who invest in mining knows that last 5+ years, buyouts were not good, and Gbr is latest example of this, yes its better for company to build mine, then sell property, for dreamers, look at mkt cap of RUP, KRR,SIL and then FR who has a lot of mines, resources, cash etc., and then please tell me why would be Nfg mkt cap be 2 B+, latest drill results out and nothing ? from pumping to dreaming ...more
