NFG has gone down on light volume, along with the rest of the gold sector. There are rumors of a potential ceasefire in Ukraine which has sent most commodities tumbling and speculators fleeing for the exits. I don't read anything into the current share price action. This is all market noise.

I predict that we will be back to 8 CAD/6 USD shortly. Today means nothing! The atomic wedgie remains intact and is a guide for the next several months.

GGGsOldFriend I hear you loud and clear but having spent clearly too much time charting (mostly as a commodity trader) the atomic wedgie still holds even on a small downturn. It is called a false breakout and believe we are clearly seeing someone doing one last kick of the can to scare out some cheap shares. IKE

Totally agree, GGGOF. Unfortunate that the UT has broken.

Yes, I heard about a potential ceasefire as well. Putin has received a wicked black eye from the Ukraine invasion and will look for a way out that will enable him to claim victory. NFG has lots of gold in the ground and any share price decline will soon reverse.

I am confused wajac ...are you saying that Putin is not the genius Trump said he was? If you have followed Putin in his previous 5 wars a ceasefire is either time to get to reload or get the enemy to drop their guard so they can attack them in the open. Better be careful what you mean when you say ceasefire.IKE

Depends on your timeframe. If you're expecting to make a quick buck then obviously this didn't work out. But if you're a LT investor then you're glad to have the opportunity to add at these prices. I'm the latter and am still very frustrated to see the move today. We could be hurting even more if the trend continues. GLTA.

If you are a LT investor why look at the daily price. Start doing something else
