The mill has enormous processing capability, including circuits for base metal productiin and Copper, having been modernized , expanded by Anaconda
This was put in place for the for the Deep Water Port being an import and export Center for metal concentrates...the Hub and Spoke Business Model for which Firefly is now a customer and proponent.
With high copper prices and the Nugget Pond copper mill of Firefly needing upgrades, high copper prices might cause Firefly to begin early mining of copper at its Ming copper mine which is right alongside the Pine Cove Mill .
Unless the tolling MOU with MAE has been signed by NFG, it is not binding on MAE.
Every thing is in place for Firefly to resume mining copper, as the Ming mine was operating as late as 2023 .
Things are moving very quickly ..
