Profitable qtrAlphinat posted Q1 ending 9/09. Small profit of 64,029 vs a loss of 68,175 in last yr's qtr. Gross revs were up a bit to 334,170 vs 287,081 last year. The revs were up due to greater use by the Quebec Government as different departments employ the Smart Guide software to increase access to government information. There are now 30 departments using Smart Guide. The Swiss regional government is also signed up.
This qtr doesn't include revs from the recent win from the French Government, which should make a huge difference for Alphinat as different parts of the French government are converted by Alphinat's partner and lead on the project.
The French contract is of undetermined size but should lead to much bigger profits for NPA.v.
