RE:Invisible GoldYou are correct. Carlin gold is "noseeum gold". Only rarely will you see visible gold in a Carlin Type deposit. And by rarely, it pretty much means never.
The only indication that you have gold in a Carlin Type gold deposit would be the presence of realgar or orpiment in the drill core. These two minerals are commonly assoicated with the high grade sections of Carlin type gold deposits. If you see realgar and/or orpiment in the core, it gives one reason to be optimistic that high grade Carlin gold is present. But the presence of realgar and orpiment in core do not guarantee gold!
I am quite surprised the last release told us results are due mid-December considering they just completed the hole on November 21st. I thought the labs were delayed? That is all we hear from juniors trying to explain why assays are taking so long.
And if they did not have the goods, then why would they race to release a duster hole before Christmas? I am hopefult they saw something good in the core (like realgar and orpiment) that gave them reason to rush the core.
Wishful thinking perhaps but juniors typically don't rush and inform the market that results are due before Christmas if the assays are dusters.
Do your own due diligence first and don't listen to me. I am a novice investor.
