… yes one hole with barn burner results would … ... light a fire under the NUG share price. If the first hole (in for assays) delivers a long intersection of Carlin type gold grades, the share price will launch. Why just one hole?
Because finding the meat of the deposit is the difficult part. Once you have one hole into the heart of the deposit, it really is just a matter of stepping out in all directions to see how big it is.
Nancy Richter is quoted in the company's press release stating they should be able to deliver a discovery hole with this round of drilling. If not a discovery hole, they should gather enough information to allow them to vector to a potential deposit. Keep in mind, these are relatively small deposits but they are rich in high grade Au once you've tapped the source.
