Sony Xperia PRO-I camera phone

Sony just announced this new camera/phone with a 1 inch sensor. It looks like more camera than phone. Here is the video with English subtitles. Is Aliis inside? Wouldn't that be wonderful. It's still an amazing camera.

And guess what I just found! It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor inside. Here are the specs https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/smartphones/xperia-pro-i/specifications

ALLIS is not in the snapdragon 888. BlinkAI is providing the AI for that chip.

Sorry "ALIIS" is not in the 888

Nexoptic just tweeted a pic of a flower taken dusk and dawn on a smartphone and DSLR. Very impressive power of Allis

Pretty sure they are integrated with Snapdragon 888
Comment by Roadrunner71 on Oct 26, 2021 1:53pm
@NewMoney: I think you're right. Copy and pasted from reddit. Developers can get started building devices powered by Snapdragon that can run NexOptic’s technology using our Snapdragon hardware development kits (HDKs). The choice of which one to use depends on the application (e.g., video vs. pictures), resolution requirements, and other performance factors. For example, NexOptic recommends ...more

They might be in the process of it, but as of now they are officially only on the 700 series.

It's in the header you posted. "Xiaomi partners with blink A.I to integrate their night mode on their device using the snapdragon 888. I don't take that to mean the only AI for photos and video on the snapdragon 888 is from Blink AI.  Also take a look through Qualcomm's site, I don't see any mention of blink AI. I believe Xiaomi chose blink for their night mode ...more

from tallking with IR my understanding is that we are not in the 888. Take that for what you will DonRudy.
Comment by DonRudy on Oct 26, 2021 2:48pm
That's fair, We may not be in the snapdragon 888. But I believe Blink AI is strictly on xiaomo for snapdragon 888. As it was Xiaomo who approached Blink AI to integrate on their device.  As stated in the link you provided. "Xiaomo went a step further and integrated Blink AI on their chipset." That quote along with no mention of blink AI on Qualcomm's ecosystem has me ...more

Could very well be DonRudy!

Found this but not sure how they are defining "partner" Qualcomm also partners with BlinkAI, which leverages the Snapdragon 888’s AI Engine for vastly improved night video shooting with the Xiaomi Mi 11 smartphone. BlinkAI’s computational solution improves effective illumination by up to 5x to vastly improve image quality in tricky shooting environments. So long dark, gloomy, and grainy ...more

@galv, did you find that info on the Qualcomm site? I thought I gave it a good look, I may have missed it.
Comment by Galvatronx14 on Oct 26, 2021 3:31pm
No sorry, I should have clarified that. I found it in an article. You are right though, I can find any mention of Blink on the Qualcomm site. They are on Nvida's though. https://www.androidauthority.com/picture-perfect-qualcomm-snapdragon-888-2747027/

It is possible the they might be at the "project stage" with the 888, but I dont think they would be at the spot where it would be integrated in the Sony. I hope I am wrong though. "As a Qualcomm Advantage Network (“QAN”) ecosystem partner, the Company has begun a new phase of advanced build into Qualcomm’s camera firmware. This brand-new collaboration offers NexOptic a deeper ...more
