From AYA release yesterday post

Where did you get that info?

Because according to AYA release yesterday we have this:

The Corporation intends to fund the Repayment, as well as fees and related costs, through the combination of an approximately US$400 million incremental first lien term loan and approximately US$195 million in cash, including cash on the balance sheet as well as from

********* the anticipated net proceeds from the previously announced sale of the Chartwell and Cryptologic businesses to NYX Gaming Group Limited (TSXV: NYX) (“NYX”).*********

The Corporation believes that the Refinancing will reduce certain debt service costs, including interest costs, and will thereby strengthen Amaya’s cash flow generation, liquidity and leverage profile.

And this part in the same NR.

These financial expectations are for Amaya’s B2C business, primarily comprising the online gaming brandsPokerStars and Full Tilt, and exclude contributions from Amaya’s B2B businesses, which were or will be classified as discontinued operations, and their assets and liabilities as held for sale, in 2015.

****This includes Cadillac Jack, Inc. (now owned by AGS, LLC, an affiliate of funds managed by Apollo Global Management, LLC (NYSE: APO)), Diamond Game Enterprises (now a majority owned subsidiary of Innova Gaming Group Inc. (TSXV: IGG)), Chartwell and Cryptologic (to be owned by NYX).******

So where did you get the news of the deal not closing? An analysts report?

I mean you would have thought being a closed deal for the financing it would have closed tommorrow. And according to Amaya their is nothing to say otherwise. And it would kinda screw up Amaya plan too reduce its debt.

The revenues cannot be recognized until the closing of the deal. That would be established by both NYX and Amaya. Amaya will have generated the bulk of the revenues for the quarter for bothCWH and CRYP so NYX will not be getting their hand on those revenues.  It was not in a press release. These are accounting rules. NYX will get the benefit of all the new aquitisions when the deals close ...more

? The deal is expected to close on the 31st of July. So NYX will only start generating revenue from Chartwell and Cryptologic on August 1st. Until then, (the official close, when press release is issued), it is Amaya's baby.

As expcted and posted yesterday, the deal closed.  Now NYX generates and claims the CWH and CRYP revenues going forward. Wondering if in the mid-term, the debt will be converted to equity? Always a possibility.  As I've said for awhile now, I just want NYX to do their thing and grow organically. They have enough to digest. I'm very interested to see how much free cash flow they ...more
