North by Northwest
Oroco’s press release earlier this week presented a nice updated package of assay data. They’ve also updated their 3-D model on the website so that you can visually see the spatial arrangement of drilling, copper intercepts, and the original historical grade shell. The big reveal, not immediately apparent in the text of their press release, is the significant expansion of the North Zone to the west.
In my post on April 21 last year, I surmised that the seven historical drilling locations west of the Western Fault from decades ago hadn’t been advanced deep enough to make significant contact with the highly-charged subsurface zone. Oroco’s 3D-IP survey data revealed a highly-charged zone west of the North Zone grade shell. Based on that data, I had estimated a significant additional ore contribution from the North Zone / West side - outside of the historical grade shell. Drill holes N019, N037, and N040 confirm this.
From Oroco’s website, go to:

This opens the VRIFY viewer.
Select (3D) Santo Tomas Drilling
From here you can see how far out the ore body extends from the historical grade shell. This is wonderful news.
