Let’s bring back some history...At the time, Pine Point Mines was known as being the most profitable zinc mine during periods of challenged metal prices. Zinc prices were no where near today’s prices being 3-4x lower on average. Watch the link below, real footage of Pine Point being into production. We see the interest people had on this project and we also see that it was a feasible project.
Whats in it for us? All of the infrastructure (~ $200 million in value), much better zinc prices, new technologies reducing both capex and opex and some drill holes carrying similar grades as to what Cominco produced. Would it be feasible in your opinion?
