The importance of the patent
All BeeEss aside, this tells the market that 01's cryptographic IP is patentable and therefore unique. That's all. 01 still needs to demonstrate IronCAP is marketable and will still need to defend the patent. That said, it's a very important step forward.

Remains to be seen if they can monetize this. Going to think about buying back after unloading a fair whack above .35. This is going to settle down until next year IMO.

True unless 01 had potential customers who were waiting to have the patent in place before they pulled the trigger. I would imagine that Cheung will be reaching out to all of those people imminently. Also perhaps CGI will now feel that they can take their involvement to the next level. The next few weeks might be interesting.
