If pooet was so revolutionary and this was all one big ploy for GF to get the tech for free, then other interested parties would also be sniffing around. The fact is pooet is vaporwear and management was using free money from the market to R&D, then hope they made a huge breakthrough before the money well went dry. It's now proven the tech is a dead end and no one will continue to fund the research.

The answer just is so simple.
Two choices:
They are just so incompetent which I think is not possible
or
This was all done on purpose to allow GF ( always my first choice) to take over POET on the cheap and all the good old boys go back working with GF as before!
