Plasma Arc Waste Destruction System (PAWDS) - PYR -

Plasma Arc Waste Destruction System (PAWDS) - PYR - from 2006.

As the article states, PYR had already been working on the technology for 6 years prior.

AND they had already installed a system on the CARNIVAL Cruise Lines ship M/S Fanatsy in 2003.

Just a couple questions arise,

Does anyone on this board know why there were no additional systems sold to that industry?

Was the system too far ahead of it's time that it took 17 years to come out with an improved version for small to medium size ships?

LINK

It seemed that PYR was 'green' and working with US Navy 4 years before 'Greta' was born.
