Licensing

Why can't we just phone the chip manufacturers and license the QNC to them ? I am being too simplistic or simply ignorant ? They could develop it faster than Quebec University professors IMO Happy Friday

Good question jojo the reasons are  1. maufacturers like Qualcomm generally dont develop chips or do any kind of R and D they really just want to manufacter.  So Qnc has to go to them with a finished product that's  ready to be mass produced and we don't have that yet. We need cmos chip for further testing then like they said in press release has to be tested in different ...more

Thanks Magus , so the CMOS is the key . Only and only after that can we approach any potential client . So while we were waiting for patents nobody at management thought of developing the CMOS chip , if that's the case it's a disgrace. The JCP salary should of went to developpers. Live and learn .

I think its clear the company was operating on a trial and error basis. JCP didn't really care as he was get paid $240K a year (or whatever it was). Also it is clear that JCP didn't really know what he was doing. Nor Miron. Once the financing goes through we are going to hire a CEO. Hopefully this person has more technical background.

we asked this question on the call basically the idea was not to spend million dollar on cmos if you don't have patents which kind of  makes sense but then they spend the million on jcp so ya in retrospect they should have spent the money years ago on cmos but hindsight is 20/20. These are the kinds of mistakes that are made when  you don't have a good manger running the show.  ...more

In summation, the JCP era was a mess aside from the granting of the patents and finding out a couple avenues that don't work. Current management have their heads on straight from what I witnessed, however, I had thought that JCP had the goods to take us forward as well. It appears to me that QNC is headed down a path that might get us to the end result in a more realistic fashion. As always ...more
