• upon first look the Q4 report didn't look that bad but upon further reading I'm finding several things I don't like
• - sales up by only 11% when the whole sector over the period should be up about 20%, that a bad loss of market share
  - what difficulty in Q1? retail sales in Canada are booming, the gross profit margin is rising as well
  - only C$20 million capex for FY24, where are the 10 Penningtons stores?
  - no plans for asset sales
  share price is down 20% as it seems many investors expected at least some mention of uplisting or dividend. I think that a lot of momentum for the next few months has been lost

One other comment.  Next time you write a seeking alpha article, at least put out a disclaimer that you are a trader and not an investor.

One of the key lessons I've learned in over 15 years of investing is that you need to sell when the investment case deteriorates. And Stockhouse is an echo chamber, at least on SA people like Henrik Alex had the guts to call the Q4 results terrible. Yeah my articles might not be top notch but over 2k places ahead of Rida Morwa on Tipranks. It seems I'm doing something right https://www

O man, you really screwed up. Do you blam yourself? When I was very young I was towing two barges, when one broke away in heavy seas, two of us went out to try and get the line on the one that had broken away, when out on deck the much older Deckhand said to me, quick jump on to the barge and I will throw you a line to secure it, there was about 6' between, I said to him "you crazy".

Funny, looking through the comments on SA and not one mention of variable operating leases (or their maturity schedule). abandonment of heding program or seasonality of the business (i.e not a single pos. EBT from cont margin, since 2013). That's gonna be a pass on the subscription, Chief..don't worry there;s time to incorporate the above before it hits your public dist.  ;)
