REDHILL RESOURCES CORP > Why would they do this now!!!

Post by Buzzard64 on Sep 17, 2013 5:11pm

Why would they do this now!!!

Why would they do this now?

How can this be a good thing for the current shareholders?

Where is the benefit?

Who benefits and how?

Can somebody please explain?

Every investment IR person I talk to says the markets are bad!!! That it is hard to raise funds, etc!

I have to wonder what could the companies do different that would instill confidence in the market? Instill confidence in the shareholders towards the company and the boards that are managing these companies!!!

Just how does the current decision instill confidence?

Just a few questions???

Can someone please enlighten me!!!  Thank you in advance.

Too funny!!! But it almost seems that way doesn't it???  And they wonder why there is no confidence in the marke???? I truely hope you are incorrect in your assumption (JOKE) and that the action starts!!! Is it really that hard to win some confidence!!! After all, all they have to do is acquire properties with some potential, do the due diligence on the properties before paying a ...more

The news release from yesterday must be part of a bigger picture as insiders hold nearly 40% of the outstanding shares.  They would not do this if there was not a master plan in place.  In my opinion, I think  the company has been shopping the globe for something significant that  is advanced and close to the production stage.  . This recent event could be the catalyst to ...more

Could they not just issue more stock options to get their own share numbers back up to where the numbers were?  Just a question? So why do this when they have the cash they have?  Just how cash much do they need?    In my opinion this is not a good move for the current shareholders.  Maybe for new shareholders, etc., but not the current ones.  Just how do the ...more

All good points.... but the million dolor question is when the roll-back is done will the price stay firm at the new 1 for 10 price?  If it does than no harm to stakeholders at this current level.  As far as issuing more options - you can only have a small percentage of options issued vs. the shares outstanding.  So no they can't issue more and will actually have less ...more

Ok A can you provide examples where this has worked out well for the existing shareholders?   B
Comment by Buzzard64 on Sep 21, 2013 9:19pm
I guess there is not an example...or at least it is taking you a long time to find one....so why would this one be different.... B

I guess will find out Buzzard..... yes I have examples. I have seen roll back's just this year with far less O/S and they performed well after the consolidation. I strongly believe that Redhill has a plan in place for making this move. They have too with 40% of the shares owned by insiders. Lets wait and see.... I am watching the short position which is NIL (600 shares) and insider activity ...more

So they announced the 4 to 1 (not 10 to 1) back in March 2013 price was about 10 cents, the price fell to less then 5 cents, today it is at 9 cents.    In October it was at .45 cents... So just how does anyone recoup from that?   In the beginning of 2011 it was trading at 1.60 as per stockwatch.....yep that is a good one. Not looking too good is it. Got another one to ...more

Well The FMR story has more to it than your quick snapshot..... but as far as Redhill will have to wait and see I guess.  I have eluded to my speculations previously as to why I thought they were doing this..... . Still holding a lot of interest in shares so will wait and see.... Buzzard have you flown the coupe or still invested? . Respectfully, . Tommer3

Tommer I still have shares in this company. But explain to me why a company would do a roll back with the cash that RHR has? Why do a roll back with the number of shares they have? Why do a roll back when they have other liquid investments that they could cash in should they have a plan, a property with potential, etc.  Why?  Why does a roll back make sense? FMR is not ...more

Glad your still holding on..... my suggestion would be to call the company and ask the questions you have.  That is the best way to find out.  I would be interested to learn what you find out.  As far as FMR is concerned.....I never went back as far as you did, as I was only invested last year and is now trading even as to my entry with far less shares outstanding.   .
