more shares

The worlds greatest management team has once again issued over 1 million shares yesterday.  It's a prettry good sign about how well collections are going in reality, although I'm sure that someone will be using buzzwords like "going great"  or "significant progress" on the next update.   New total is now 200.58 million shares......    sigh.

After some good discussion on the CEO site and possible delayed reporting off the TSX site, it looks like a total increase of 270k from last highest known totals off of the md&a (with shares issued subsequent to quarter end information)

Expect more shares to be issued.....Co. needs $7.5 million to buy hardware for sales of $15 million

that s why we ll keep getting lower from now on until we actually are profitable. Next stop low 40's by the looks.

Doesn't meeting demand for the hardware being sold result in substantial profit? If so, is raising the capital to meet the costs plus produce that profit a bad thing? Why would stockholders be better off by NOT doing this?   Surely, if RHT had substantial cash flow to just buy the equipment then more shares issued would be a bad thing, but given the present situation, what would you ...more

My understanding ( though I could be wrong) is the Co earnings are still below profitability, as a result there is still no cash flow to pay for a large amount of hardware as Icsfa claims.

Mitch43 you are correct, Reliq does not have enough cash to pay its current bills or its short-term payables, that is why they are issuing shares.  There is a chance that Reliq could turn profitable in Q3 or Q4, but will have to wait and see.

Revenue has been coming along nicely lately (although I'm sure we'd all like to see faster growth), but the issue that sticks out has been receivables, hence the focus on collections.  Certainly, a good chunk of receivables would not have been due at the end of fQ2 because most devices are sold on a time basis, but still there were an undefined number of them that were >60 ...more

Good post
Comment by EdinColorado on Mar 21, 2023 10:52am
Doesn't answer my question, Mitch43. If there is demand for their equipment on which they make profit, why is it bad for us that they raise money to buy the equipment so they can make that profit?  They can either take on company debt with a bank loan or issue the shares needed to raise the cash. We might argue advantages of one over the other, but I see no point to doing neither, so I ...more
