RE: RE: Venezuela diplomatic Relations with Canada It is my understanding from what information I have been able to gather (CAinPlap) that Venezuela has had a very ( unique ) and long relationship with Rusoro. This relationship did not exist with Crystallex. This is not to say that Crystallex did not get the so called short end of the stick in their dealings. If the proof here is that what has happened to Crystallex happened quite quickly and suddenly showing that if the Venezuelan Government wanted simply to take over a company they will do it. RML have not only recieved a 3 month negotiation time frame but also have recieved an additional 3 month extention to the negotiation time limit. This to me says there is not going to be a repeat of the Crystallex situation. Venezuela understands that the international community is watching what is going on in there country and Venezuela does not want to be BLACK LISTED and isolated as a Country you can't do business with.
In my humble opinion once again there are THREE MAIN FACTORS at play in this whole matter of RML and it's dealings with Venuzuela. This whole situation is not ' Normal" in the sense that first factor is usually the main and only factor needed to make a decsion wether to invest or not. That factor is surrounds MANAGEMENT and RESOURCE which include amongst other factors FINANCES, these elements surround the operation and running of the mining company, after all this is what you are looking to invest in mainly. However, into the mix are thrown two more ( Factors ) which would not normally be of great concern but in this case are. The first being " POLITICAL IDEOLOGIES" to be more specific the NATiONALIZATION of the mine by the Venezuela Nation. The second being " CONFLICT OF PERSONALITIES " which unfortuately unfortunately aflicts many personal and business dealing's in this world. We are dealing with extreme points of view ideaology wise and with very powerfull personalities in politics and big business. This can be a very volitile and unpredictable mix. It can not be stressed enough that an investor must look at ALL these factors, any one of which could be dominating the resolution of this matter at any one time. I believe you must ( GLEAN) out from what information is known at any one time just how this situation is going to turn out in the end. There are those on this bull board whom have all but written off RML as a complete lost cause and believe from what I can decern from their comments that the whole nation is on the verge of a major Revelution of some sort. Some of the comments I have read lead you to believe RML and the Venuzuelan Government couldn't run a popsicle stand!!!
The Signs of a Positive Resolution: The fact that negotiations have been extended shows the Venezuela Government is willing to negotiate. We are now at the end of the 3 month extention period of Negotiations and the Venuzuela Government have not up an just taken over everything. This tells me that at least some progress must be being made and talks will at the very least continue on to a settlement.
RML has issued options to it's Company Staff. I do not believe that this would be done if the company did not believe it would be around to honor them and these options were issued in January during the extended negotiation time frame. I believe a signal is being sent out here without the company actually coming out and stating how negotiations were proceeding
In the end all investors will make up their own minds based on this very difficult situation. However, as every investor knows now, should these negotiations end on a positive note the SHARE PRICE is going to rocket up very quickly. I believe the opportunity to take a position in RML at a ridiculously low SP is rapidly coming to an end. If the the outcome is not positive then investors must lick their wounds try and do their best to learn lessons from this whole disaster they can apply to future investments. In any event this whole matter is a WIN WIN situation. You will either win Financially or in lessons and Knowledge gained!
