Rusoro Mining Ltd. is a Canada-based company, which is engaged in the operation, acquisition, exploration and development of gold mining and mineral properties. The Company is a gold producer and explorer, with a land position in the prolific Bolivar State mining region in southern Venezuela. It has gold reserves of approximately 5,584,000 ounces and inferred resources of over 6,805,000 ounces. The Company has two mines in production and ten exploration projects (including development and exploration around the mines) which range from early stage to advanced/development stage gold projects in Venezuela. You may be right and the stock does have momenum but as the process is coming to a head under OFAC and the settlement vibes are positive, it seems unlikely that RML would  settle for a substantially lower figure at this late stage. I feel that they're just trying to appear conciliatory. Also how does this square with the fact that they seemed to have a working arrangement with VZ in 2016 and the Canadian banks refused the VZ money on account of US sanctions.
I still feel that the main unanswered question is how big is the pot of money which could be released relative to the demand of all the claimants and by what process will this be proportioned. Also what will RML's legal costs be.
