RE: interesting...

RE: interesting...

It has been a Top Pick on BNN on a number of occasions.  That doesn't necessarily mean it is a sure thing, but Bruce Harris is one that has been recommending this since last summer even while it was dropping.  He has a good track record for recognizing value..  WIth the new corp presentation and operational updates, people might also be realizing that they are planning average boe/d growth of almost 70% for the year.  With some of the better netbacks in the industry, that is going to translate well to cashflow.  It could also be a big year for consolidation.  There are lots of companies focused on natgas who would probably be very interested in getting a focused light-oil producer to balance our their oil/natgas weightings a bit better.  Painted Pony comes to mind...they just spent money acquiring Viking property to go after light oil and cut back on their capex for this year to conserve money while natgas prices are down.  There are plenty others who come to mind as well.  There are serial acquirers out there like Whitecap that would love to get their hands on a growth story like RPL.
