The permits should be a easy win because it's underground with no enviroment /or overburden waste . There is no water per say to contend with .  At present there is a gypsum mine there and using the port load out . Another important part , there is a major hydro /power sub station only a few kilometers away .  This is a win --win for anybody building a new mine . I have being ...more

For all the reasons you cite I really cannot see this taking 5 plus years to get going, nor can I see a justification for a fair value of 0.94 cents!

Environmental assessment in months.!!!!!    Dream on . Please do show us all .   Better yet get the company to state that,  They did not answer my request for time lines months ago " Good Afternoon    Can you advise me if the environmental assessment has been completed and approvals are in place for the salt mine.  If not, can you provide a ...more

lol do your DD maybe? You can easily look around of other nearby completed EAs that have been done recently and see....... it took a few months to be approved after submission.

wow you have been a member for an hour  and now two posts.  Let me guess your next  troll statement will be "there is tonnes of these assessments , im not doing your due  diliegence, find them yourself"  If the company wont state it....

Exactly! last December (i think?), when they did one of those online sessions where SALT was a featured company... the missing interview which they never posted.... they took questions from us listeners. i asked, and rowland answered about permitting.  i wish i could post the company response, but they did say something to the effect that they had started the work and needed a year's ...more

Historically Atlas have been shocking at responding to shareholder questions. I have never received a reply to any e-mail sent. In contrast Julie at TPR does have the decency to respond even if her replies are vague.  My understanding from someone else was that the environmental application had to wait until the FS was completed as this was required in support, but that it was ready to go ...more

The feasibility study would include projected timelines  obviously and this should be standard marketing. No news is not good news

I stick to my assessment for the permitting process; with the caveat that if baseline studies have commenced, then the process could be shortened. Baseline assessements last typically one year. So if they started last year, then you would have saved one year.

I think your 2 to 2.5 years for environmental is extremely conservative . I would expect double I asked the company 2 months ago and they did not respond
Comment by Spencerlee on Oct 08, 2023 8:26pm
I'd say your calculations are off.  ..... at most it would take is two years.... and that would also include if there was some sort need for indigenous approval... Which I don't think coincides with this at all. So give or take 600 days would be considered consevative... And thats dependant on if there's federal or provincial hands on this.. also dependant if they had already put ...more

We are in agreement. As I clarified in a subsequent post, the baseline studies are completed and there is a savings of 1 year for Environmental and Permits. Based on the FS (Page 24-6 & 24-7)... The Project is scheduled to take 55 months to permit, engineer, procure, construct, and commission, commencing in September 2023 and reaching practical completion in March 2028, with ramp-up and ...more
