Debenture issuance
Well looks like we found out how they are going to keep the doors open -at least Howie is putting his money where his mouth is for $500k. So he probably just took his salary from SBM for the last few years and reinvested.
Wonder if this is in relation to how the clinical trial went? If it went well you'd think they would wait it out in anticipation of shareprice increase.

The answer can be found in this sentence: "Dr. Howard Verrico, the Chief Executive Officer, has agreed to subscribe for $500,000 of Debenture Unit" Cheap way to increase control of the company - and beneficial at the long term exit that he has expressed as the ultimate goal (buyout).

convertible debentures let the holders participate in any upside potential and get in line ahead of shareholders in the event of insolvency.

Considering Canadian Income Taxes, it would take 6 years of salary lol. As far as anti-aging clinicals are concerned, getting results to monetization are light years apart. In the interim, you have to keep the doors open.
