Isn't there usually a run up before a private placement, too?

My opinion, this is the order of events (Sorry for the pessimism, but if you read my posts, you know my stance and I always hope I'm wrong):
1)reverse split
2)Q2 results by Aug 31
3)private placement

I'm going to be looking for news that their supply chain problems are over or mitigated (I doubt it). For comparison, in my world I was expecting parts that were ordered 3 months ago for some prototypes to arrive this month and was told it would be February, 2022, instead.
