Local NFLD plays

I am confused as to what I am seeing. SIC has released great results, and the price drops. LAB reports 2 absolute sh!t holes, price drops, and is now coming steadily back with no other info. I realize that many are waiting for the meeting results today, but can someone explain wth is going on here?

There is a seller/sellers holding this back. It's either warrant-related or a group has chosen to play with SIC, or both.

Someone is holding the share price back, and who is Broker 55 Velocity, has anyone seen them buy any shares before.   Anyway, you can't keep a good horse back for very long, sooner or later the pockets will run dry, and be out of shares to sell. Great results, and like someone said the companies that are moving higher are the ones who haven't proven anything, stick with the ...more

Hedge, I think ES is selling shares and has been, to make room to exercise his options in the event he can't get control (20%) position. Why not? The warrants are well in the money. This single event should lift a huge weight off of our share price. In the meantime view this as an opportunity to thank Eric later Best S

Thanks Surething..... I will sit in gratitude, and get ready to thank Eric later!!

Hedge, I will add something. Should ES be granted approval for controlling interest, it wouldn't surprise me to see him try to recapture many of his shares recently sold. Of course he will want them back as cheaply as possible, so don't be surprised if share price is held back in that event. JMHO S

And I would venture to guess that if he wants to buy them back, it may also squeeze the short positions and maybe cause a large run up?
Comment by lewdogg on May 18, 2021 1:00pm
No, it will likely cause the PPS to fall so he gets his shares.

Agree, He will no doubt sell a few short as well, and pick off underneath. He has plenty to cover with after all. This approach only works in an obscure environment. A few more stellar holes and this stock becomes a household name, and all bets are off table. I know it is premature, but I am already thanking Eric and others. Without them, I would've been shelling out .85-.90 a share. No, I ...more

"it wouldn't surprise me to see him try to recapture many of his shares recently sold ..." Exactly what SIC shares did he sell recently???  His mandatory insider filings for 2021 up to now, show zero SIC shares sold by him.

Blindboy, Nothing stops someone from borrowing someone else's shares and selling into market knowing that they can be covered one way or the other. Best S

also adding to the point below, is he not considered an insider and subject to blackout periods for buying and selling??
Comment by Ethanator on May 18, 2021 4:21pm
He is considered an Insider because of the number of shares he owns and therefore, has to disclose when he sells.
Comment by BlindBoy on May 18, 2021 4:53pm
Yes, he is indeed an insider, subject to blackout rules in place. (I believe Canada and the USA may have slightly different rules, but with similar end goals).   Insiders are required to file a report (an "Insider Report") with securities regulators any time their direct or indirect beneficial ownership of or control or direction over securities of the Corporation changes, including ...more
