RE:RE:LETS GET IT DONE!All depends on how the well is designed. If the vertical part comes in on prognosis (ie. high up on structure) then the angle of well could be shallowed and go horizontal through hydrocabon column. Alternatively its a vertical pilot hole, which is logged (to demonstrate movable hydrocarbons), and then plugged and side-tracked into the first horizontal leg. Somebody suggested that the well design had been shared? Maybe I am replaying on old discussion on here, GIven the time on the first vertical well I bet they are already into the horzontal or about to log the pilot hole. Time will tell I guess.
