Under federal and provincial legislation minority shareholders can commence a claim against the company "in cases where the actions or omissions of the corporation or its management are oppressive, unfairly prejudicial or unfairly disregard the interests of the shareholder." The oppression remedy can be pursued by an individual shareholder as a class action I believe. There will need to be evidence demonstrating lack of good faith in catering to shareholders' interests. A good start would be writing to management posing questions about the lack of corporate activity to move the company forward for the benefit of shareholders, why no dividend etc etc. If somebody
