bungle in the jungle

I advised selling at around 0.37 and got a quite defensive response on this board.  I couldn't see a favorable risk/reward situation with optimistic analysts giving a possible upside target of about 0.60.  My take on the AIM listing is that they have contingency plans for a dilutive financing. How does having THX's existing float trade on AIM help the company?  I also don't get punching holes in Senegal when they claim that there is more gold close to the mine, first mover advantage in Nigeria, etc.  It sounds like a lack of confidence in their own plan or just plain lack of prudence.  Having said that, the whole sector sucks, and THX may see good times, eventually.  I might buy back at 0.12 after financing.

punter, it's clear you have become a systematic basher, but not a very clever one. If you sold at .37, congratulations on your good luck.  If you are claiming you predicted the delay in commercial production, you are a liar.  Your buying opportunity is already here.  Talking nonsense will not help you get cheaper shares.

There you go again.  I never predicted a delay.  If I remember correctly, I said there were lots of risks and maybe it was time to cash in after a rise from low 20s to hugh 30s.  You have fallen in love with a stock, I think.

BTW, I doubt very much that anyone posting on a board ever managed to influence SP in a meaningful way.  I check boards and occassionally comment in the hope that I can learn from others but it is like trying to find true love on Tinder- such a lot of base, tawdy people!  Anyone pumping this POS should be admitting their error and trying to learn from others.  THX might have ...more

Now you are pretending to be Mr Rational, while continuing to devalue the stock for no reason.  THX is not a penny-explorer-lottery-ticket.  It is now a producing mine, 99.99% de-risked.  Maybe you don't even follow the news. As for today, the market caught a 'virus' and is sneezing, but not dying.

99.99% derisked?  how did you calculate that?
Comment by ABDPhil on Dec 21, 2021 9:56am
@Tree2tree: 99.99% de-risked, my god! I remind you that the factory may have started, but it is not working as expected. Its current production capacity is not profitable. For the moment, no diagnosis has been made and the more time passes, the more it smells bad.   If additional investment is required and a new component needs to be added to the mineral processing process, a temporary ...more

agreed on that.  One scenario is a shutdown and a 0.10-0 to 0.15 drop in SP.  And where does he get that moniker?  Is that a Johnny Weissmuller thing?  He only invests in deep jungles where it is difficult to make a buck?
Comment by Tree2tree on Dec 21, 2021 6:45pm
The "0.10-0 to 0.15 drop in SP" scenario has already happened, and it was overdone.  If there are further interruptions, they will cut into income, but they will not destroy the value of the assets.  In any case, we will soon know the direction that THX will take; and who has been blowing smoke rings on this board.
Comment by Tree2tree on Dec 21, 2021 6:50pm
Btw, I'm open to hearing your best investment ideas, even if THX is not one of them.  My mind is always open to making money.

Honestly, I'm not very enthusiastic about the whole sector.  THX was great for me this year, but only becuase I got nervous about the risks and nailed down a modest profit.  I did very well in PM stocks between 2000-2014 when POG was giving a good tail wind and I retired early.  It is much harder now to pick winners.   Penny gold stocks are loads of fun but it is not a ...more
