RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Soap OperaVestor
I only invest in a few venture plays. I normally don't post on any of them because I gain the knowledge that I need form the healthy discussion that occurs on other boards. I am not sure why I felt the need to post on TLT's board, as it appears that there are many hardcore nutjobs that just post garbage to cluter the board to prevent any healthy discussion.
There needs to be a bit of a balance between "going to the moon with a cure for everything" and "your getting duped by the venture vultures that are gonna steal your pennies away"
TLT has only completed in vitro studies on other types of cancers. They have taken the approach of focusing on just the bladder cancer market as a way to get the product to market. I believe this is strategic in getting the drug liscensed. Once it is liscensed they can tackle other types of cancers or opt to sell to the highest bidder. If it is successful in humans there will be significant interest and the bash brothers will suddenly be offering advice that seems completely irrelevant. (oh wait, that is already happening)
The TLC-2000 sounds like it will be the laser to own if you are in that line of business. Ironically, I recieved a flyer in my office mail from Theralase advertising their lasers. That is how I became aware of TLT. When it gets approved there should be some excitment in the SP, but it will boil down to sales in the long run to determine its overall affect.
The anti-bacterial aspect is completely out in left field for me. Just interesting research right now. I could see potential in markets such as multi-antibiotic resistant infections in hospitals, sterilization application and possibly even large scale water purification. But this is a side bar right now for TLT and not the reason that I am invested.
There are pretty strong opinions on both the left and the right for the TLT bullboard. I just wish people could post their opinions with the balance that I spoke of earlier so that we could possibly learn something from each other and benefit mutually.
