RE:RE:RE:Common vs Warrants.....

RE:RE:RE:Common vs Warrants.....Why not simply own both?

I made money on the first warrant run up and flipped them into shares. Then purchased some warrants on the 12 cent retrace. I have an 85/15 split. I think of the warrants as sweetners :)

If, your intention is to unload warrants to get the cash to convert into Common you will probably have a nasty surprise. There will never be enough support on the bid, so you had better be able to get the cash somewhere else. That is basically the message I'm trying to demonstrate. Also as time flies by, if the SP fails to rise substantially the risk factor grows on the warrants, and their value starts to drop. Hey I've been here almost 6 years and the SP is exactly where it was when I bought my first shares. Atleast I was smart enough to play trading games and grew my position through strategic trades, but the fact remains, this whole process has taken alot longer than we all thought, hopefully it will go much faster moving forward.

BTW there has to be an incentive for buyers to purchase Warrants, so I disagree that they will be trading at $1.65 when the SP is $2. The way Markets are volatile there will generally be a discount greater than the 35 cent spread. But as I mentioned before we will only see how this plays as time goes.

Of course the spread will – over time -- increase closer to 35 cents. The “knucklehead factor” – unloading at market – may make the spread larger – but that will be temporary because of arbitrage.

I agree that buyers of warrants are optimists – they are hoping for share prices over $2.

If the share price is at $2 – the warrant will be at least in the neighbourhood of $1.65 – at which point you will be grateful that you own 200,000 warrants rather than 100,000 shares.
