Patients DO select clinical trials. At the end of the day, they are the only ones that can make the decision. The options are recommended by their doctors, but they decide. The more doctors/hospitals on board, the more likely they will select TLT. But more importantly, when people look at a trial, they will look at the results other patients have had. To say not releasing results of the patients treated and showing CR after 90 days when a lot of people have been told to have their bladder removed, who does that benefit? No one... If you are so sure the results are 100% after 90 days, a $500 NR is well worth the investment to get more patients enrolled. Bladder cancer sufferors have a lot of options, as Dr. Lilge mentioned, why keep patients in the dark? Makes no sense....
