New buyers have an interesting perspective

I had told a friend in passing about TLT a while back and they did some DD and were interested in building a position.

My friend pointed out that it was not realistic to do much as there is so little to buy without spiking the price. The were interested in buying up to 200,000 shares at some point (a whopping 65-70,000 dollar investment :) but told me that was on hold. Today, if they tried to buy a chunk like that it would use up all the visible 2nd level asks going up to 0.37 just from their bids alone. One person.

So they play to hover for the time. But I thought it was an interesting perspective that one person interested in joining the party couldn't do so without singlehandedly causing a 10% price jump by themselves.

Indeed,  that's what happens when no one is selling. Demand will spike this share price very quickly.

Tell your friend to give the buy a try. I was able to double my position in the past few months and the price bearly moved. A lot of the trades went through the other Canadian exchanges. A lot of the asks weren't showing, when I put my bids in they got filled. best of luck

It's too bad they couldn't have gotten in on the recent financing.

agreed. I think they were waiting to sell something else so it wasn't an option at that time. I like the suggestion to try regardless as I see the point about all those other exchanges that are not listed under the standard bank level 2 quote. Will pass on.

Ask your friend in the spring whether he still thinks hovering at .34 was a good idea.

I'm sure he will come round. He has just never tried to buy a stock where his one small order would potentially bump price up by 10%.

Seems to me that .40 is not far away. A strategy could be buying gradually. Be sure to be in partially in the eventuality of a speedy! SP increase. But the SP could also go down... in that case put a low price bid in. GL

TLT has very good potetial to become a multibagger, I just don't get the hesitancy to buy if you really want in? So what if you buy a couple hundred thousand shares and pay a few percent more. IMO In 2 - 6 months from now will it really matter.  Know what you own! GLTA

Buy in increments. I wish I had 200 000 shares. Remove a zero and the truth is closer. Still, will be enough to make me dance the macarena if all goes well. Feels like an ice age have passed since the first buy.

Any buyer wanting to accumulate shares can put in small orders, 10-20,000 shares at a time at the price they're happy with close to market price and they will accumulate the 100-200,000 shares they claim they want, well before the share price of TLT skyrockets.  GLTA.

Dawg, I think thats because there isn't much stock remaining in the float due to us longs all in and staying put. Nor is there room for institutional  investors or funds. They are simply not getting our shares, we know the potential.

snb458 - Once we get over the $1.00 level there will be lots of shares available for institutions......there is a pile of cheap paper that will get unloaded as the price increases.

Are you talking about the whack of cheap options expiring in 2024. Those have and exercise price of .35.

Perhaps Mikee, however I am one of those people with lots of cheap paper and just like my cheap shares I won't be selling at anywhere near a dollar. The company could likely issues shares as part of a base self prospectus somewhere north of a dollar, that should supply the institutional investors with plenty of shares. But even with that, why would TLT sell shares on the cheap ($1-$2 ) just

I'm betting we get bought out or get a solid JV before I have to worry about selling any of my Warrants. Talk about 'cheap paper'.  :-)
