SEA Maiden Resource Estimate

Does anyone here remember how many Oz's Seabridge's Maiden Resource Estimate dished up way back when? Just curious.
Comment by CairoK on Feb 12, 2021 11:58am
I believe it was 20-30million ounces If I remember correctly.

Thanks for the info, big numbers indeed. Let's hope our T.C can come in somewhere close to that! GLTA

I believe that SEA used a cut off grade of 0.30 for the calculation...
Comment by MarcusA on Feb 12, 2021 3:35pm
You know what the real grade turned out to be? I remember that KK said (during his presentation)  that GS rivals SEA 's deposit. And that is 26 something m oz. Just imagine what PSZ will add...

Nice point...I think watchmeplease....might be onto something. ES,Kk and WS are pushing thing fast (time is not on their side) If there was a get rich (legitamit) investment...I would say we nailed it folks! To orpiment and beyond...from Goldstorm connecting to Eureka! Damn folks what else do you need?....don't forget Highpers sulpherrettes! What a great piece of land!....and we're in it ...more

There has been a ton of work since 2010 at KSM. KSM now hosts 76 million ounces of gold in the measured and indicated category plus 17.1 billion pounds of copper. Of this total 39 million ounces of gold and 10.1 billion pounds of copper are classified as proven and probable reserves.   In the inferred category, KSM hosts an additional 66 million ounces of gold and 33.2 billion pounds of ...more

You guys got a great deal on snowfields....I'm sure you folks will make good neighbors. So CSK, you've always said you're going to buy TUD after our resource report...what are your plans..you gonna get in bed with the enemy?
Comment by CobraShelby on Feb 14, 2021 11:24am
Hello Fordster. Enemy : No. I see only one giant mine in the area in my view. It could be a join venture of several giants in the mining sector who will buy it all
Comment by MarcusA on Feb 14, 2021 11:55am
Thanks, CobraShelby! Yes, this sounds like a plausible solution that would serve many interests (including ours).  My question is: Wouldn't  that require a hell of negotiantions between a great number of very different player. I hate to imagine how complicated that would be - Completley wrong?
Comment by CobraShelby on Feb 14, 2021 4:03pm
Yes MarcusA  this could be a bit complicated. 2 or 3 max could be involved in these talks. One  Ore company and one silver/Cup also. The first Mainden resource of Tudor and the lowest cost of extraction on the 300 horizon could play in a major role in advancing this talk or a big player can also take over the key property in the area who is Treaty Creek on the right side of the mountain ...more

Thanks for clarifying, Cobra. I did not mean to express any disrispect to the idea. If it comes true a group investers manages a mega-deal for the entire area (maby including SEA. Fine with me, we will proft from it. But I am not counting on this my decission. As you stress, the drilling program 21 will allow us (and buyers) to have much better picture of what GS and PSZ (or the KK-Zone in your ...more

Hello MarcusA  We are just speculating over here. No one on this board really knows what will really happen. The only thing I am really sure is 2021 should be a really exciting year for all 3 Amigos. GLTA
Comment by MarcusA on Feb 15, 2021 3:21am
Of course, Cobra! We can agree on that. Being patient should feel a lot more easeier in the next year than it was in last 6 months. Greets, M

If we had the time to simply hold all those years...wonder what we would own and how much would we be worth. I do wish the whole development and capex of these beauties were less complicated and cheaper. There's a great video over on investor village from Gillripper on how to do this hybrid technique of mining...I'm amazed there's any money in it...I cut and pasted it here (Thanks ...more

That's some serious Capex.
Comment by alpha74 on Feb 14, 2021 12:01pm
Seabridge has not created any shareholder value since its maiden resource. On the contrary, the market cap is currently about 25% lower than in october 2007! And this although the gold price is much higher today than at that time. This would make me think as a shareholder. Seabridge has not been able to find a strong partner for the way into production all these years. The fact that capex of ...more

My guess is that he believed that the court would have ruined both companies  at the time and he could have it for almost nothing. That did not occur.

Great Alpha. Just facts that speak a clear language!  Also, there are always two sides of a mountan... I know which one is better in this case!
