Re CKG, what they are doing right now is more of the same. The endless metallurgical testwork continues as they try to find to a way to make Metates economical to develop. And of course there are the concession problems; I am not sure if they have managed to resolve them yet.

IMO it would take MUCH higher PM prices to make the economics of Metates work, particularly due to the enormous capex. I have learned to stay away from the likes of Metates and ITH's Livengood; large low grade projects. You might be able to make a little money trading them when the PoG is rising enough to lure in more suckers, but that is not my style.

And speaking of old favorites around these parts, the original founding geologist of GQC has died. And alas, it still seems like their Romero project in the DR is still going nowhere.

ranman i feel your pain. I just experienced an acute but totally overblown health concern that had me wondering if i could ride the teuton story to the end. I know exactly where you are coming from... However the retail investors have largely abandoned the mining sector.
